E! Online has a video with the top ten.
http://www.eonline.com/videos/v29755__Idol...t_the_Road.html Cute video. I really enjoyed Carly's response to the girls who love David. She says that they have to get past the five other girl Idol runner-ups first. My response to her statement: Bring it on.

Article from TMZ
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Guess David Archuleta won't have to worry too much about that prom next year -- because he won't be going to Murray High! David withdrew from school during his run through "American Idol." School officials tell TMZ David hasn't re-signed up for his senior year, which starts on August 25. He'll be out on the road on the "AI" tour until September. Our sources tell us he is ditching Murray to do the home school thing (as in home with Daddy Dearest Jeff ) so he can work on his new album. We haven't heard from David's reps as yet ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He changed his status on MySpace and I really couldn't resist posting it.
Yesterday I went to both the dress rehearsal and the live taping.
Alright my dad I arrived at the northern end of the LA Convention Center at about 9:20-30. We saw a couple hundred people already waiting and we quickly went into the line. At about 10 a man came around saying please put your cameras in the car and that he wasn’t sure about if cell phones were allowed into the theater. Then, they began to wrap the line around the block. Then the waiting started. We waited in line until 12ish and they started checking voucher tickets and handing out actual seat tickets. A little while later they began to move us into the Nokia Center. They moved into a room filled with a couple hundred people and it was a bit uncomfortable. I walked around exploring the area. Outside we could see the TV Guide channel set up for ‘Idol Tonight’. Below us there were radio stations eating and getting interviews from people. I actually saw Elliot Yamin talking to a radio interviewer, but a guard said we couldn’t look over the balcony anymore and he moved us away. While waiting to get into dress rehearsal I noticed there were definitely more Cook than Archuleta fans. Then, at about 1:20 they moved us into the actual theater. Instead of seating us at out assigned seat they just filed us in to take up the seats closest to the front and move back. (A little less than a third of the theater was filled) As soon as I walked in I almost freaked out. It was so amazing to see the Idol stage so close. They had us walk behind the judges table (it took all self control to not touch it.) Eventually they seated me and my dad at the very right hand side of the audience FOUR rows from the stage. The Idol stage was in lunging distance. (haha). Soon the woman who did Brad Pitt’s microphone check during Idol Gives Back (I think her name was Debbie) came out and explained when to clap and when to be silent. She went back out and the lights dimmed. They practiced the introduction and all of a sudden David Archuleta and David Cook came out. Everyone freaked out and started cheering for them. I cheered loudly once I saw David Archuleta. He is so much cuter and sexier in person. I’m not joking. It was a dream come true. The Davids went back to the backstage after the introduction. Ryan came out and he did the other introduction and then stopped. They had to work out a few kinks about where Ryan should stand because there was so much noise. But then Debbie asked (through her headset) whether or not the Davids wanted to come out and practice where to stand with Ryan. All of a sudden they came out and everyone cheered. And then silence. I yelled, “Archuleta!” And right after people began to yell “Cook” or “David” or “Archuleta”. The both looked up and waved at the audience. So David Cook did his first song and even I had to admit it was amazing. My dad told me, “Wow, that was good. That was very good.” So I was nervous by the time David came around. He was sitting on the stairs. But Debbie told him to move over on the stairs. And he scooted his butt along the stairs. I almost flipped out because it was exactly like when he scooted over on the CBS studio’s stage when he sat down that one time. (Yea, I don’t think anyone else was as thrilled as I was by this.) Then, our David went on and sang his song. Let me tell you, if you ever get the chance to go to taping of American Idol, GO. Later yesterday I saw the performance at home again and the TV does David’s voice NO justice. Once David sang, he owned the stage. That is honestly all I can describe it as. His voice, his gestures, everything was perfect when he sang. It was AMAZING. After the song was over, everyone cheered. My dad told me, “That, gave me chills.” I had to agree completely. His voice is so much better live and in person. Then they did their second songs. David Cook did an excellent job. I have to give him credit. David Archuleta went up and once again, it was amazing. I cannot stress how much better David’s voice sounded at a live taping than watching it on TV. Suddenly they had to work out a few kinks again. David Cook stayed onstage with the crew to try to get his position right. David Archuleta and another crew member walked to the very right of the stage and they were checking his mic I think. I yelled, along with a few others, “Archuleta!” He turned in our direction and waved while smiling. I started waving frantically at him. He looked at me, smiled, and waved back. THAT was the best part of night. I’m sorry for acting like such a fangirl, but that was the highlight of the night. I kept thinking ‘Oh my God, David waved at me.’ David A had to go back to the center of the stage. He and David Cook just stood there while the crew was working on technical things. The people who had signs were holding them up (I had one. It said ‘Catholic Girls After the performance we were herded out and asked to either get into our assigned seats or hang around outside. My dad and I hung out outside watching the commotion of this ordeal. At 4:15 we went back into theater because the doors closed at 4:30. By this time the theater was completely packed. They played music while we were waiting. About ten to, a guy came out trying to pump the crowd up. Throughout the live performance during the commotion he’d go around the theater handing out ITunes gift cards. Right before the show started the judges came out and everyone cheered. The performance was (well the same on TV). Nothing really exciting happened. Oh, and while in line to go to the rehearsal show, I met a camp counselor from one of David’s camps he attended. Apparently she taught him when he was a lot younger. But today I went to school and found out several of my classmates had also gone. One of my friends met David Archuleta’s dad. She asked to take a picture with him. He seemed surprised someone would ask him that. She also asked how David was doing and if he was nervous. She told me he said David was prepared and he could do this. That's what happened. It was amazing and it was worth waiting four hours total. I would definitely do it again. Any questions feel free to ask.
