This year was SO up in the air and so close that no one could have easily predicted this outcome. Both Davids sang beautifully and in my opinon, they are still my American Idols. No matter what happens from here on out, they ARE the nation's American Idols. I am tearing up at the fact my boy didn't win...but still. To be only 17 and be recognized this far...don't think of it as a loss guys, think of it as a win. David was able to reach us all, and THIS is the start of his career, even if he wasn't the winner.

but its just sad to see him loose when he has worked SO hard [ not saying cook hasnt but archie is 17!!!!!]
and him just winning the title would really be "icing on the cake" he is probably fine with coming in runner up, ohhh so am i but i just wanted to see him sing "in this moment" with confetti falling and him crying and his family in tears .. i just really wanted to see that. =/
