How long?

It's hard to type and cross my fingers at the same time. I will seriously cry if he loses. I will be, beyond dissapointed. He was there to win last night, and I've been cheering him on to win since his audition. The Arch Angels are praying for you, David! WE LOVE YOU.
Don't lose faith, Angels! We can do this! And don't believe those stupid sites, the only people who know who the American Idol is right now are people that work on the show who count the votes... and stuff. Neither of the Davids, Ryan, Randy, Paula, Simon, or any of the rest of America will know who it is until 10:00 tonight. Oh, jeez, only 3 hours and 2 minutes or so!

ok, usually i think david cook is pretty good, but rarely as good as archie. i love archie and cook, i just... well, dont. but i would totally admit it if i thought cook did better than archie last night. i admitted it last week. this week, i will not b/c it is not true. i personally thought cook was terrible yesterday- even his first song. i think cooks best song was worse than archies worst! sheesh, even my dad said that archie should win... and my dad absolutely hates it when i watch idol! and he doesnt like archie b/c i do but my dad thought archie was incredible (so did i)

Because this is- in case we forget sometimes- it is a singing competition. And you just wiped the floor with Blake on that song.
Simon to David: You know, we've taken a little bit of stick this year at the competition, but at the end of the day, this show is about finding a star. And tonight, I think we've witnessed one of the great finals, but here's the difference. My opinion... David, you came out here tonight to win, and what we have witnessed is a knockout.

Well, I've been a long time reader of this site, but not much of a poster. But after last night I just have to say how happy Archuleta made me feel last night. He was so confident but humble and his emotion was so genuine. Wow. It has been a long time since I've been so impressed by an Idol contestant, and I'm going to be super disappointed if he doesn't take the crown tonight. That being said, I'm still so glad there are this many people on here who seem to appreciate him as much as I do. Congrats on a great season, everyone!

Since he's a minor, producers may trick with his votes so that he doesn't win. Since it is sooo hard working with a minor on Idol cuz u have to have permission to do everything... Plus, his father isn't doing him any justice...
