I am happy that Archie is having a face-off with Cook. And I'm happy with what he thinks about his competition (Cook). David Cook is a more mature and more seasoned performer that he is, based on Cook being older than him (meaning more years of performing and exploring himself as an artist). David Cook truly has achieved a lot, and it is evident with the caliber of his performances.
David Archuleta is undoubtedly a prodigy and a boy wonder, with tons of raw talent. Maybe two years from now he could have surpassed Cook's polished and sophisticated artistry. But this wouldn't happen if Archie hadn't met Cook. David Cook has set a good example for Archie to follow. Archie is learning from Cook.
David Archuleta will be a great artist someday (soon).

That's nice that they respect each other. I think it's cute that Cook calls him Archie. It was sweet how Cook put his hands on David's shoulders last night as they went to the couches when they made the top 2. He's done that before, and it looks like a gesture of support and friendliness from an older brother. Really nice. David looked like he was going to pass out, so I'm sure he appreciated it. lol
