I can't wait for this summer! My first American Idol concert ever, and it has David Archuleta in it... Could anything be more perfect?
Actually, it could! I could actually MEET him (I'm planning to try, lol) and we could become close friends and we'd hang out all the time and I'd visit Murray and... Well, I guess you get the picture.

So what I want to know is: Who else is coming to the July 27th concert at the BlueCross arena in Rochester, NY?

Also, do you plan on being there early to try and meet the contestants?

P.S. Where are your seats? We got some in sections 108 and 53, I think. We had to get 2 tickets and 3 tickets separately 'cause if we bought all 5 together we'd have been in the WAY back...

My grandparents are taking me and my friend to the concert! We are soooooo excited!

My seats are in section 225...mine were way in the back at first but I got new ones and we're right next to the stage. =) You should definately try to come early and find us, we're a fun bunch of people!

I won't mind the Cookies at all! My friend is a giant Dreadhead and she also likes Cook, so I'm used to it. We're going to bring tons of food and snacks too so we can all picnic together. =) I'm exciiiiited!

Well, my first ones were on the lower level, which are usually considered better, but they are way in the back. I looked again the next day just to see what kinds of seats were left and there was some on the upper level RIGHT next to the stage. So I begged my mom haha. But now I have to sell the others ones on ticketmaster...I hope someone buys them! Otherwise I just lost $200.

I'll be there!! I haven't been to an AI concert before so I don't know how early to get there...but I just went to a concert at the BlueCross Arena last winter. I'm just going with my mom though because none of my friends wanted to go with me haha so if you wanna meet up or something talk to me!

tekk: no idea. probably you can bring cameras, since i have no idea how they'd keep that many people from doing it... i know it's been done before, at least to the meetings beforehand.

Rochester I had to go to see Archie, my tickets are in section 219. Not exactly the best seats because I had to wait so long to get tickets but whatever it doesn't matter as long as I get to see Archie!! Oh my gosh I can't even believe it I'm so excited right now!!!!!!

for the best tickets u have to like ge them the day they go on pre-sale cuz thtts wat i did...
i got them from ticketmaster while i was in skool... i ordered them in my drafting class.. hahaha
but yea i got reaaaalllly good seats.. in section 31 which is right on the floor in front of the stage..!!!
they werent even expensive either...
well compared to last year...
my mom payed 200 dollars a piece last year and this year only 66 dolars a piece and theyre like in almost the same exact section as last year.!!!
and sometimes they move ur seats closer...for some odd reason but thts a good thing.!! =]]]

well i got mine on pre sale from ticketmaster...
cuz i was supposed to ge them last saturday but they went on per sale last wednesday so i called my mom and she gave me her credit card info and i just ordered them off ticketmaster while i wa sin skool....

well before i got my tickets, i was calling the arena like everyday asking tham all this info...
and i asked about an after party or backstage passes or something and the lady kept saying tht they dont do stuff like tht...
soo.. idk...
but im going there really early at like 10 in the morning and im gonna ask all the security guards about everything and see if they know wats going on....
me and my family are gonna hang out at the dinosaur bar first and im gonna go in the bathroom and sign my name somewhere ion the ceiling cuz there aint no room on the walls soo...
im gonna say hi to all of u guys soo if u go there early then u can go to the dinosaur bar and see my siggy...
and i might make a sign tht says who i am...
soo it'll prolly say something like "im 'sox' from archuleta fans.com" and then u guys can make signs too with all ur usernames on there and we can all meet up before the show...

yeahh it's pretty big. I was in section 217 when I went to see JB and Hannah Montana and it was kinda far away...but I'm in 124 this time so I'm so stoked!! anyone wanna meet up? I'm just going with my mom haha so I need to meet some arch angels!!

Guys I'm so excited you meet you all! When the concert gets closer we definately have to pick a meeting place and let each other know what we're all wearing. Is everyone going early to see the buses? We could find each other around there. I'll be the one having a dance party. =) Except I don't think we're going until around 12:30 because my friend has a youth group meeting until 12ish. You can definately get souvenirs! There's a whole booth set up with t-shirts, pictures, etc. Transportation to the concert do you mean? If you don't have a car, there's a lot of bus stops and stuff in Rochester that probably go to the Blue Cross Arena. I'm in the upper level too, but it's right next to the stage with a great view! What section are you in? And for the last question we're probably all going to be wearing some white since it's David's tour color. See you there!

(yeah, sort of a stupid question, but just checking) My Archie friend whose dad is taking us to the concert is Chinese. She doesn't know how to speak the language though, because she was adopted when she was a baby. You'll like her, Lianne's awesome.

Anyway, yeah, wear a bunch of white! The whole arena's probably gonna' look like there are bunches of cotton balls all over the audience, lol. Archie's fans are some of the most hardcore (woo-hoo, go angels!).

im going to the concert in toronto canada, july 26th, the day before, so if the new york concert is on the 27th, than they have about a 16 hour drive from toronto to new york!

Nahh it's in Rochester, NY..not NYC. So the drive is only about 4 hours I think.

ohh okay, cuz a 16 hour drive would have been crazy! they would have no time to rehears on anything! so thats good

Yeah, if they cross into New York through Buffalo I'd say about 6 hours or so of travel. They'll probably take a more direct route though, 'cause they're smart.

ok, i think now that everyone is willing to meet up, we need to set something permanent. Like meeting in a specific spot at a specific time. problem is, i've never been there so someone else is gonna have to pick the spot. and 1 person should be there a little bit early and hold the sign so we all know where to go.
