He's not sick. He just hasn't gotten a lot of sleep because of all the performances this week with idol gives back that he has to practice early in the morning and late at night. He talks about this in the interview with Ryan before he sings.

arg i still havent been able to see him sing because i cant get on the internet at home but i did download the audio but i forgot to put it on my mp3 player and now i am so frustrated about it and i am at school so i cant watch the video on you tube because the school block the site and i dont get to see the show until three weeks from now in new zealand and that makes me angry because we are soo behind
