aww...I thought david did incredible. one of my favorite performances and the best performance of the night by far.

No, he's not sick. They just had a very busy week with "Idol gives Back" and plus performing, and he also said that he likes to practice late at night. He sang the song in the lower register at the beginning so he could hit the high notes at the end. He did it great.
