Hey everybody! Like the post I made the other day said, I went to the concert in Duluth, GA. It was the awesomest night of my life! I just wanted to talk about it. OK, so it was a school day, and a school night, so I didn't get to get to the venue early :-(. When we were getting something to eat right before the show, we saw this guy on a motorcycle behind us (my friends Melanie and Kristen, my mom, and me) when we were at a traffic light. I turned around and put the poster that said, "I VOTED 200 TIMES FOR DAVID A!" up to the window. The guy on the motorcycle was sheilding his eyes; he was reading it! Then he made a thumbs up sign! It was really kind of funny! I tried to show him the other posters we made, but he just shrugged because he couldn't read them.
When we got to the arena, we walked in, they scanned our tickets, and that was it! They didn't check our bags or anything! Someone could have brought a gun in and killed David Archuleta! But hopefully no one would have the nerve to do that! Anyway, we went to the bathroom and took a picture before we went to go find our seats, and I realized that my ticket was gone! I was freaking out! We went back into the bathroom and this lady had my ticket in her hand. I told her it was mine and I was like, "Thank u! I love you!" to a complete stranger! LOL it wouldn't have mattered if I had had my ticket or not, anyway. So we got to our seats, which were really high up and far away, but it was still a good view. The concert was amazing, it was the best night of my life! When it was all over we went outside, and we saw all these people crowding behind the barricades. I asked this lady what was going on, and she said, "They're gonna come out!" So we were in the back of a huge crowd, and people kept pretending they were looking for someone, but they just wanted to get up front. We couldn't see a thing, so I hopped on Melanie's back and I was like, "I can see!" She was like, "What do you see?" and i said, "I see shadows!", but it was just another security guard. My mom was getting impatient, because like I said, it was a school night, and we had to drive two-and-a-half hours to get home. After about 30 minutes she said we had to leave. Reluctantly, we made our way to the parking lot. When we were almost there we heard screaming and turned around. There were cameras flashing! I said, "Mom, can we please go back??? I'll give you $10!" but she wouldn't let us :-(. My heart was broken. All summer, I had had my heart set on meeting David Archuleta and David Cook, and of course everyone else. Every day for about a week after the concert, I came home from school and cried. If you think I'm a loser for that, well too bad, I really don't care, lol. Maybe one day I'll meet David Archuleta at one of his own concerts.
