At 2:06 the interviewer asks if being on Idol will "help" David at all in Chemistry (in other words, will the fame and popularity of Idol sway his Chem teacher to give him a good grade; kind of like how some people believe in the myth that teachers will give jocks a good grade in class just because they did good in yesterday's football game). David is confused about the question and just says "Yea!!". LOL still can't help but laugh.

The part that the OP is talking about is right after this at 2:26. The interviewer asks David what he thinks the reaction of his school would be when they find out he's on Idol. David says that he tries to keep his auditions and everything a secret, but comments that sometimes someone will see a commercial and will say "I SAW YOU!" and he'll tell them "SHHHH!!!".

I'm still trying to figure out which part is the best part of the interview - the confused "YEAAA!" part or the "SHHH!!" part.

At 1:30-1:32 he like clears his throat and gives what looks like to be an involuntary wink, it's so funny, cute, dorky and adorable at the same time.

& I also love how he says his Chemistry teacher's name, he gives like a short sigh and says it in a funny way, "His names Mr. Green.." and then gives a smile, haha.

And he didn't get it.

Thank you for posting this! I have been searching everywhere for this video because the download from myfox50 was not working. This is absolutely my favorite video! I love how David admitted he had no idea what the interviewer was talking about and laughed it off. He's completely adorable and so humble. I didn't understand the question about chemistry either. Some of these interviewers ask bizarre questions and put him on the spot where he should come across as full of himself. The don't even explain their question if David doesn't understand what theyre asking. In another video, he was asked if he was an "overachiever" and he didn't understand the term or hear it right and thought he was asked if he was "a cheater", and the interviewer didn't really explain the question. Well I hate being interviewed so props to David for handling himself so well.
