Me too!! But that's only because I didn't go to my dentist for six months, yes, six whole months...don't ask why..lol

And yeah...what she said...!! I remember my experience very well...it didn't hurt at all when it was being put..and then after a couple of hours it felt like somebody was pressing each tooth with two fingers lol
and that night i found it soo hard to sleep...i was wishing i had never gone to the dentist in the first place...the pain increased over the next three days and then it subsided.

It felt so uncomfortable in my mouth..cold and sharp and metallic..and i got loads of wounds..i couldn't eat spicy food for days..just liquids and semi-solid food...ugh! the horror..!! But now that I'm used to it, I don't even realize it's there...it must be really weird when you get them off...coz your mouth has to get used to new conditions again..

And like all the others already said it hurts for 3 days or so after each visit..and you have to keep it clean by brushing regularly *cough unlike me cough* lol..and you shouldn't eat hard things like nuts because if you do you'll break your braces..i've broken them..like 7 times hehe...and the time it pained most for me (yet) is when the doctor put rubber bands between my molars...but don't get scared...the experience is subjective..different for everyone...

i like this thread btw...nice to share the pain!! And i never got to pick these...colour bands or whatever you call them...i didn't know you could and my dentist didn't even offer...i just have plain silver ones :(

Which reminds me..i have to go to the dentist soon or it'll be two months since i've been there!! Why am I prolonging this torture unnecessarily? jk!!
