Hi. this is all true so please no rude comments..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear David Archuleta,
I have a lot to say…sadly, I don’t think you’ll be able to read it all. Firstly, I’m 13 now. I turn 14 on the 23rd of February. Yeah, I know. It’s another one of those crazed young teen fans. Well, that’s not really true for me. Yes, yes, I’m a huge fan and I love your music and personality, but also I think I’m more mature than others. When I was 12, I went to Egypt for a month of my summer vacation. I am Egyptian on both my parents’ side, but I’ve lived in ___________ for my entire life and to be honest, I don’t intend to move (great colleges, nice weather most of the time, it has a big city but also quaint towns...maybe you should come and live here! Haha) Anyway, back to the point.
So my mom got a job there, and we went. It was in Alexandria to be exact and the amount of people there during the summer, on top of being overpopulated all year ‘round, well, it was like Hell broke loose for me. Soon I started developing strange symptoms like spacing out in the middle of a sentence, or always sleeping in and staying up late and just general exhaustion all the time. It wasn’t normal exhaustion though, because I know you go through that everyday practically. No, I felt bad. Just horrible all the time. What with being out of my element for a month, constantly being pushed to talk to people above or below my age as if we had tons to talk about, when in fact, I don’t even speak Arabic that well, I believe it was well expected. So I constantly hassled and tried to hurry through the day, just so I could do my favourite thing…watch you. Yes, creepy. But when American Idol was actually running, I didn’t watch it. At that point I usually just watched the finale. So when I saw you sing (This was before we went to Egypt, mind you) I just felt that you were an angel.
My parents allowed me to take my laptop with me, of course. So, everyday, I’d wake up at 12:00 or even 1:00, have a little meal and just watch American Idol. From your audition in San Diego to your David v. David finale. (By the way, Cook is awesome too!) When I was watching you, I swear, I felt OK. I felt calm, safe and happy but not quite healed. You were like my safety blanket, something I could take with me everywhere that reminded me of home. So I’d stay on my computer for let’s say…about 6 hours straight. We’d then go and meet some family, have dinner and come back home. The second I entered the house, I grabbed a snack (Egyptian food is great, but not when someone’s practically feeding you themselves.) and sat back down at the computer, ready to watch more American Idol and whatever videos of you I could find on youtube. When I came back home, I even went to a shrink. Once. She said that it was just because of all of the stress I was in. The point is, you’re not only my idol, but you’re my safe haven. Even when I was friendless at school (I still kind of am) I’d just write stories, think of you…and I was hated for it. Nobody at my school likes you, which to tell you the truth, is a good thing for you because they’re all jerks. Trust me, I’m not making it up.
I write songs because of you. I wrote a song/poem about you. Again, it’s that teen fan thing. I write stories about you (yes they’re romance but that’s pretty much the only thing I can write without you being dead, Haha) But the thing is, you’re my saviour. And no matter what, I’ll always respect you. And love you. (But not you know…love)
If you’ve read this far, I thank you SO much. Because to tell you the truth, I haven’t told anyone this.
God bless you,
Should I send it to him? How do i grab his attention through all the other letters? Thanks.
