Country Loves David Too!

I looked for people who might've posted this already and didn't find a thread, soooo I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope it hasn't been brought up before :)

Last night on my twitter I got tweets from Lady Antebellum (country group) and Carter Twins (country duo). I flipped when the first tweet from Lady Antebellum said something to the likes of Crush is my jam and David Archuleta is killing it (i'm kinda lazy and don't want to look up the exact wording... sorry... i fail ik) and then one of the guys from Carter Twins replied to Lady A and said they were there too and they LOVED him and Demi... more of Demi was amazing, but implied the concert was amazing.


Soooooooooo ik this is random information that maybe you care about, but I flipped out XD. I'm surprised no one knows these artists/doesn't follow them. Lady Antebellum is awesome, Carter Twins are just cute. :)

That Zero Gravity is bad for you?

MAJOR ODD moment in Astronomy today. the video we were watching was talking about space travel and that being in zero gravity for a long time wears on the body. and i actually wrote it down, then i laughed cuz all i could hear was 'Nothing brings me down when you're arounddd it's like zero gravity'....

ohhhh

and then i was at this assembly, and the presenter used Imagine, and I kept hearing David's voice instead of Lennon's.

Save Your Breath

Recap: Boy meets girl. Girl likes boy. Girl gets rid of her boy for new boy. New boy dates girl. Girl wins talent contest, boy comes in second. Girl gets pregnant, boy and girl marry. Boy does pretty nasty stuff. Girl gets mad, almost leaves. Boy cleans up, girl not convinced. Girl has three beautiful girls, boy adores them. Boy and girl forego careers, raise three daughters. Daughters find out secrets, boy and girl resume careers. Girl’s sister dies, boy’s brother has a kid………

And that’s where this story begins. Is there a happy ending for boy and girl? Heck no!

The Ouside...

So, i wrote this fic called Mr. Ooh La La followed by the sequel Life of the Idol, and now Little Voice, but i began it like..... last April and i gained readers by the 3rd part that never read the first 2 parts. So, I decided to create a fic that would start from the beginning, but from a different point of view, and I hope a little more mature and detailed than what I started with. I started it without really knowing David, but now that I understand what his character is like, I want to show the fan's side of this story. And I hope more people will jump on..... soooo yeah.
It's kinda based off of the song The Fame - Lady Gaga, but it's not all about it, so it's not the title. It's an outside view looking into their world.




Prologue: A fan is a fan is a fan. Some are fans of sports, some of fashion, some of theatre, and most of all, the obsession with celebrities in music/movies/TV.

Obsession can be a very vague term at times. It can range from a compulsive infatuation of a person or an idea, to the very extreme form of obsession. Stalking.

But really, what is constituted as stalking? Stalking can simply mean to walk, or to observe a person persistently, out of obsession.... And these are DICTIONARY definitions.

David used to be a normal high school junior. He participated regularly in sports, got good grades, aimed at long term goals, had a bunch of friends, never been kissed just like a typical high school student. His passion? Singing. Singing set him free. It made him feel alive. It showed him there was something worth living for, something to strive to reach. A goal unlike any other. And he was willing to give up everything he had to reach this goal. He just had to try. For the love of singing he knew he had to try.

Sam was the smart sophomore, in love with an older guy, a decent student, carefree, had a voice, but didn't take notice to it, had no great passion to sing, never thought she'd ever have the chance to make the cut. Until a dare... She finally dared to try.... try to reach that fame and fortune she dreamed about, her passion. Nothing at stake, just a silly bet that turned into gold.

Together, they created a dynamic duo. An unlikely pairing, with Sam's spontaneousness and not so squeaky clean reputation that would be against ANY person of the Mormon faith's morale and beliefs, and David's purity and innocence. The relationship between the young teenagers grows rapidly, creating turmoil, greed, lust, and giving up in what you believe to do what you think is right.

Fanatic, a noun, meaning a person with excessive enthusiasm for a certain subject.

For Trina Malec, Maudie Litchmore, Lola Dimeceli, and Anya Fribley being a fanatic, or Fangirl, rather, was what they lived for. Their friendship sparked by obsessions with two people they hadn't even known before the start of the new year. Didn't even know their names. But now, they slept, ate, drank, breathed their names, their songs, their lives.

We never think about what we're doing, we just... do it.

Obsession....

Fame.....

Fortune.....

Inspiration.....

In this crazy game called life, one can not escape the scandal and controversy included with the life of the rich and famous. One small move can change a person's life. A word can tear people to pieces. A lie can affect millions.

Even if you don't even know them.

You can be perfectly fine pursuing the dream of Fame...

and be torn apart by someone you don't even know.... and they don't even know they're causing pain. Pain that lies in the hands of the person, A-List to D-List. Pain that can twist life, make someone stronger, or make them weak.

Cuz we wanna live the life of the rich and famous
Cuz we gotta taste for champagne and endless fortune

I'm Such A Horrible Daughter...

so, his closest tour date of david's to me is 2 hours away (exactly) and i knew better than to ask my mom....

but i want to still go, and so i came up with a plan.

I signed up for a college visit at the college i really want to go to which is like half hour from the place he's going to be (Madison, WI) and i have a friend who lives like 5 minutes from there so i have a place to stay sooo thennn i got the confirmation from the college that i got the 2 PM appt to tour the campus on March 6th (yay!) and so now i HAVE to go down there, but my mom still doesn't know anything, and tomorrow i'm going to tell her about the college visit... and probably a few minutes later pretend i just found out about the concert and ask to go...

but i'm one of those people who hasn't gotten to see him at ALL. And he's come at least 3 hours away from me 4 times....

i'm such a brat.

now i'm just rambling... yeah.
