I'm In David's New Music Video!

I'm so freaking excited because I stood out in the rain on March 8th at the House of Blues for 6 HOURS (plus a four hour drive up to Chicago). From waiting around forever, to getting drenched in the rain, it was worth EVERYTHING. I ended up I meeting his guitarist, Mike and drummer, Eli before the show out in the general admission line. They were cool. And I ended up getting 5/6th row, so I was content. :)

They wouldn't allow our cameras inside, so I'm fine with this music video!
It's iconic because I guessed that same day that they were going to make his next video like this.
The whole day, his camera crew (wearing special lanyards as well) filmed a lot of people in the general admission line (such as myself). So I figured, why not? It'd be a good music video idea.

I just love the video in general. I think it's his best one yet. You get to see him in his element and the way they edited it with the black/white and the blue colors/lighting in the background is AWESOME.

I Could Have Taken Her Out. ;d

Omg this was the best/most entertaining post-Idol interview I've seen!

Basically two girls, one representing Cook and the other Archie put on HUGE fake boxing gloves and had to show how badly they wanted their David to win. So the first one to push the other out of the ring won.. LOL.

I can't believe David Archuleta's fan got pushed out of the ring and totally gave a win to Cook's girl. LOL.
And I love how Archie didn't even cheer for her.
But hey, both girls got Tour Tickets out of the 'game'! :D

But I thought he looks extra cute today, and really tan. LOL.

I just love Archie. :)

That Awkward Silence

The whole time I think we could have said that Larry liked Archie a lot, but kept cutting him off.
Of course, we all know how rambly and cute Archie can get. LOL.

But when he asked him a question in the last part of the show David gave a quick and simple answer.
But nothing else was said and everyone (Top 10) broke out in laughter. LOL.

I died. :)

Other than that, I thought David looked goregous in green and he just has a good spirit after the Finale and all.
I just love him. :)

And a quick congrats to him signing with Jive! :)

My Theory..

My Dad brought up a good point as to how close the votes were last night.

It's obvious that Archie has a WAY bigger fanbase than Cookie does.

However the ages of fans both have are different. I'm sure if the voting had been 2 hours long we would have it in the bag for Archie. But since most of the fans of Archie are 10-17 year olds (such as myself), it was a school night and we all have bedtimes. :)

But when you think of Cook's fans they're about 20+ years old. They stay up late.
I'm assuming the Cookies got a lead on us when we went to bed.

And I'm sure that Simon's comment to Cook about his song choice making the fans 'angry' had nothing to do with the votes. It's the ages.

We did the best we could Angels! :)
